As a lover of İstanbul, I regret to admit, but I went to Süleymaniye zone last year for the first time. I could only see famous Süleymaniye mosque since it was close due to restoration during the year when İstanbul was the 2010 capital of world culture?! Süleymaniye, which has the second biggest dome after Blue Mosque and is the tallest mosque in İstanbul… Top 10 İstanbul traveler guide and many others passionately recommend this place as a touristic charming place. There are tourists more than local people. Meantime, far eastern tourists with umbrellas are around. Last year my friends had told me that there were places famous for their lima beans (kuru fasulye) around the mosque. And, they especially recommended the one at the corner....

Anzer Sofrası serves the most delicious and abundant evening meals during Ramadan. Also by Bosporus and also at a reasonable price... Unless you had a chance to taste Black Sea cuisine until today, this is definitely the place you should come for discovery. Restaurant exists since 1975. For a few years, it has been at Sarıyer Kefeliköy, at the intersection point of Hacı Osman uphill road with the coast, at the right. Cezayir Restoran is like an oasis in the middle of İstanbul, Taksim. It takes 5 to 10 minutes to reach there after turning left at Galatasaray. It is very near to entrance of Cezayir (Algeria) Street. Building, established at 1901, used to be a school that children of Italian workmen attended. After entering historical building and descending too many stairs, one can reach garden floor. Garden is more like a winter garden. Due to glass case, it is not very possible to see sky or head of centennial trees. However, as my fried put it, no one desires leaves or worms at his or her table.
